Meet Daphne Singingtree at LAcon 2026

I will be at LAcon, the World Science Fiction Convention in Anaheim, California, August 27–30, 2026. I am looking forward to joining conversations about hopeful futures, resistance, roots and ancestry in storytelling, Star Trek’s vision of utopia, and positive body representation in speculative fiction.

My Circle for the Earth series asks what humanity might choose differently if we valued the Earth, community, and future generations. The books follow an Indigenous-led community unexpectedly transported from the present day to 1791, before the Louisiana Purchase, and explore what might be possible if colonization had stopped west of the Mississippi.
