Eagletree Press, was founded by Daphne Singingtree in 1984 in order to publish materials to educate midwives. In 2024 Daphne expanded into publishing additional books. Eagletree Herbs Guide to Medicine Making and a novel Circle for the Earth. Both are due out mid 2024

Daphne Singingtree’s journey in midwifery began in 1974, leading to an active practice in home and birth center settings until her retirement in 2002. Her influence extends beyond her practice, as she played a pivotal role in shaping midwifery education and accreditation. As a founding member of the Midwifery Educators Coalition, she laid the groundwork for the Midwifery Education and Accreditation Council (MEAC) and served on the MEAC Board of Directors from 1997 to 2001. Daphne also contributed significantly to the field through her role as Vice Chair of the Oregon State Board of Direct Entry Midwifery from 1999 to 2001 and as Education Committee Chair for the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA).
In addition to her hands-on work and leadership, Daphne holds a Masters in Education with a focus on learning with technology. She is the author of the Birthsong Midwifery Workbook , the Emergency Guide to Obstetric Complications, and Training Midwives: A Guide for Preceptors, among others. She is currently working on the Eagletree Herbs Guide to Herbal Medicine Making, and has just completed Circle for the Earth, her first work in fiction.
Daphne is also the mother of four grown children and has eight grandchildren. She calls Eugene, Oregon, home, where she grows herbs, makes medicine, and is an activist for protecting the earth and water.

Shipping: Tangible products are shipped within 2 business days and sent media mail unless another method is requested. Electronic products are usually available for immediate download, although differences in software, browser settings, and connection speeds may cause problems. If you are unable to download your product, please email it, and your product will be emailed, usually within 24 hours
Returns: We strive to create the highest quality products possible, and customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you are unhappy with a print or tangible product, please return it within 30 days for a full refund. Sorry, no refunds are possible with electronic or downloadable products. However, please let us know if you are unhappy so we can improve. Feedback is always appreciated.
Privacy: The privacy of your information is very important to us. We do not use cookies or auto-tracking software. If you purchase a product from us, we will not disclose your e-mail address to anyone. Your information will never be sold. On rare occasions, we will send an email to purchasers of our products, letting you know of a new edition or a new product. If you do not wish to receive even this rare email, please let us know, and we will remove your name from our customer lists right away.
